Email Pennye Thurmond		Principal 

Mrs. Pennye Deal Thurmond is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has completed her master's and educational specialist's degree at Nova Southeastern University with a focus on educational administration and supervision as well as curriculum and instruction. Mrs. Thurmond served Lauderdale County as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher in 2000-2001 at Lauderdale Middle School. For the past two years, she has been an assistant principal at Union City Elementary School in Union City, TN. Prior to her roles at UCES, she taught 8th grade history and science at Dyersburg Middle School.

Email Lynn Ferrell
Assistant Principal 

Mr. Lynn Ferrell has a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Memphis. In 2006, he completed coursework in Educational Leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University. Mr. Ferrell has been employed with the Lauderdale County Board of Education since 1989 as an 8th grade American History teacher at Lauderdale Middle School.

Ms. Rhonda Waldo has been employed by the Lauderdale County School System since 1998. She taught third grade at Ripley Elementary for ten years. She obtained her associate's degree from Northwest Mississippi Community College and bachelor's degree from Union University.
