Students orally read Weekly Reader according to grade levels.
Compass computers are utilized to practice TCAP skills in reading and math.
Students read daily to gain AR points and take AR tests in order to reach goals set at each grade level.
Board games/puzzles are used to reinforce different skills.
Hands-on science experiments are used to reinforce SPI's in science.
Competitive math games are played daily on the computer.
Time is allotted each day to work with students to complete homework.
Homework is completed and checked by a LEAD teacher.
Students are involved in pair-reading and peer-tutoring.
Walk Away the Pounds is a program we are use to get students up and moving. This program is a low impact workout that gets students of all ability levels involved.
Students can express themselves through music and art.
